Gemini Pro is now live to use for developers and enterprises through Google AI Studio and Vertex AI. Notably, this first version of Gemini Pro has a 32K context window, which will be increased in the future and support text input/output.
The Gemining Pro AI tool comes with a range of features such as function calls, embeddings, semantic retrieval, custom knowledge grounding, and chat functionality. SDKs are also available for Gemini Pro to help you build apps that run anywhere.
It supports 38 languages across 180+ countries and territories worldwide. Simultaneously, Python, Android (Kotlin), Node.js, Swift, and JavaScript are also compatible with this tool. Therefore, developers can use Gemini Pro and Gemini Pro Vision for free through Google AI Studio.
It’s worth mentioning that Gemini access in Vertex AI will be free until early next year and after the general availability, the pricing for Google AI Studio and Vertex AI will be $0.00025 per 1K characters or $0.0025 per image of input, while output costs $0.0005 per 1K characters.
