Samsung has made its S-series of Galaxy smartphones perhaps famous for their advanced, innovative designs. The S24 Ultra appears to have the same feature. The new leak, by web vent @ReaSufyanWaleed, gives a preview of what could possibly be a major design change for the upcoming flagship variant.
Leaked photos reveal four variants of the S25 Ultra sidecar, all of which feature a flat panel – unlike the S24 Ultra’s curved screen. The first design shows slightly narrower side bezels that offer a better viewing experience. The second prototype reduces the thickness of the entire frame, while keeping it flat and thin.
Interestingly, the prototypes look at different design approaches to solving the bezels problem. The third style is a redesigned one that emphasizes the thinness of the side margins and the thickness of the top and bottom bezels. During the final design, our goal was to combine a lightweight frame and slightly more curved side lines.
The leak incident hasn’t revealed any details about the S25 Ultra’s internals or features, but it’s clear that the phone is undergoing a redesign. It appears that Samsung’s style preferences are for flat displays paired with thin bezels. This could be their way of improving the looks of their flagship.
Although it looks nice, it should be kept in mind that this is only a reference design and can be modified in many ways. The manufacturer has never been very secretive about its engineering and developments, but this gives us our first idea of what Samsung’s next line of S series smartphones could be. This will be a period of gossip, so expect a lot of rumors. He says the phone will arrive in early 2025 and we’ll hear official details then.
