Samsung will release the Galaxy S24 series early next year, and the lineup is tipped to offer lots of upgraded features and capabilities. Meanwhile, recent reports suggest that the rear camera sensors of Galaxy S24 Ultra are supplied by Samsung Electro-Mechanics and China’s Sunny Optical.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra rear camera module consists of a 200MP wide-angle, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle, a 10MP 10x telephoto, and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera. The 200MP wide-angle camera is supplied by Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics.
Whereas, the Sunny Optical and Namuga were in charge of the 12MP ultra-wide angle. The 10MP 10x telephoto and the 50MP 5x telephoto camera is supplied by Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Sunny Optical. The 12MP front camera module will be supplied by Namuga and MCNEX.
Thus, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Sunny Optical account for a large portion of the Galaxy S24 Ultra camera module.
On the other side, the standard and Plus models of the Galaxy S23 series have the same camera specifications and camera module supplier. The 50MP rear wide-angle of the Galaxy S24 standard and Plus models are supplied by Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Partron.
The 12MP ultra-wide angle is supplied by Cammsys and Power Logics, and the 10MP telephoto is supplied by Power Logics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics. The front camera modules for the standard and plus models are produced by Cammsys and Power Logics.
