The wait for One UI 6.1 is over, and it will be here very soon, especially for Galaxy S22 users. The company plans to roll out the update to be distributed around April 10, taking advantage of the existing fan base in Canada and fixing a troublesome bug affecting the AOD feature.
This emergency was triggered by a bug reported by a Reddit user. However, it doesn’t matter if a user uses the Wonderland app via Magic Box on their Galaxy S22, unaware that the AOD on their S22 still displays in full-screen mode – a feature that is now only for the S24 series. This problem likely occurred because users feared they were not locked into full AOD activity.
Fortunately, Samsung has acknowledged the mistake and assured that the One UI 6.1 upgrade will resolve the incompatibility. To make sure it works correctly, improved AOD has been added to the s22 on the S22 update. Samsung has apologized for any potential inconvenience this may cause to anyone and has recommended that the updated version of the software be kept up to date to avoid further problems in the future.
Accordingly, anyone using a Galaxy S22, be patient, updates are coming! Bug fixes for the AOD issue as well as implementation of key features are likely to be reported tomorrow.
