Samsung is committed to providing regular updates to a wide range of devices, ensuring that those devices are always up to date with the latest features and security enhancements. The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A51 5G smartphones are the latest to receive the June 2023 update, following several other Samsung devices that have already got it.
June 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy A51 brings fixes for over 50 flaws that were affecting the users’ privacy and security. These include 3 critical, and 47 high-level of common vulnerability exposure related to CC Mode, Exynos, and Knox ID.
It is just an incremental update, so it does not bring new features or changes except security maintenance. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some time to reach all models.
The new software for Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A51 5G can be verified via One UI build versions A515FXXU7HWF1 and A516BXXU7FWE2 respectively.
At the moment, the update is rolling out for some European countries including the UK and Samsung will make it available for Galaxy devices in a few days/weeks.
Users of the Galaxy A51 can check for the update manually by going to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. If you have received the update then you can install it by following the on-screen instructions.
