As of now, Samsung offers 4 major upgrades for its flagships and some mid-range devices. While Google promised to provide the latest Pixel models with a long 7 years of upgrades, which is a big surprise, therefore, now it seems that Samsung with the Galaxy S24 series may also follow the footprints of Google.
According to the information, Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will get upgrades for 7 years, but currently, it’s not confirmed that this is related to major OS upgrades or security patches. It means the upcoming Galaxy devices will receive new features and optimizations until 2031. Wow.
However, Samsung has not yet confirmed anything officially, but if this happens then it will be like a cherry on the cake. Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra devices will come pre-packed with bundles of upgraded software and hardware capabilities and will be unveiled next week.
