We are at the end of this month and Samsung is expanding the reach of the December 2023 security update for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices in more countries. As of now the patch is rolling out in China and will reach remaining users soon.
The latest security patch didn’t bring any new features or major changes to your device, but it improves the core mechanism of the system and enhances its security and stability grades. In addition, the update also resolves common bugs and issues of the device for a more reliable and protected experience.
The consumers of Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra will be able to determine the December 2023 update via the One UI build version G9810ZHS8HWL1, G9860ZHS8HWL1, and G9880ZHS8HWL1 respectively.
Also, the update is rolling out gradually and will take some time to cover all the eligible units. You can check and download the update manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
