Samsung is poised to elevate the smartwatch market with its upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series, set to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2024. The Galaxy Watch 7 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, each featuring an OLED screen with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, matching its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 6. In contrast, the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, available in a single 47mm size, boasts an impressive 3,000 nits peak brightness, making it ideal for outdoor visibility.

Durability is a key focus for both models. The Galaxy Watch 7 features an Armor Aluminum case, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, 5ATM pressure resistance, and an MIL-STD-810H-compliant design. Battery capacities differ, with the 40mm version housing a 300mAh battery and the 44mm version a 425mAh battery.

The Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra steps up with a Grade 4 Titanium case, an IP68 rating, and 10ATM pressure resistance. It includes three physical buttons—Back, Home, and Quick Button—and is powered by a robust 590mAh battery.

Both models will be available in Bluetooth and Bluetooth + LTE variants, with the Galaxy Watch 7 offered in two colors, including Green, and the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra in three colors, including Titanium Grey.
