Samsung Galaxy S22 series will not remain the latest devices of the S lineup as it’s going to get its successor next month in the form of the Galaxy S23 series which will come pre-installed with One UI 5.1 custom skin based on the Android 13 operating system.

To follow the tradition, the One UI 5.1 update will be expanded for some eligible devices after its debut, and the Galaxy S22 devices could be the first to grab it. We are assuming this because Samsung is testing the One UI 5.1 software on devices with great speed.
According to new information, Checkfirm has detected a new test build for Galaxy S22 Ultra devices and it will probably be the One UI 5.1. Notably, the first test build of One UI 5.1 for the same device was found last month and this shows that the update is developing for the device.
The new test build for Galaxy S22 Ultra carries a PDA version number S908EXXU2CVL9 and the firmware is developing for the Indian variant of Galaxy S22 Ultra as the CSC code of this release is INS which belongs to the Indian units.
However, the One UI 5.1 could debut in the upcoming month with Galaxy S23 series at Galaxy Unpacked Event 2023. It will come with some cosmetic and influential upgrades over One UI 5.0, notably the firmware is also under testing for Galaxy Z Fold 4 devices.
