Another Chinese smartphone manufacturer will soon be joining the foldable market. Samsung is going to unveil its fifth-generation Galaxy Z Fold smartphones next month, and we now get to see how the new rival from OnePlus looks through leaked renders.
Reliable source OnLeaks in collaboration with SmartPrix revealed the design renders of OnePlus’ first foldable phone. The upcoming OnePlus V Fold renders show that it doesn’t look like the OPPO Find N2, instead, it’s introducing its own identity.
The phone comes with a back panel featuring a leather finish for a premium look and a comfortable feel in hand. There’s a triple camera system, with a periscope sensor equipped alongside, flaunting the iconic Hasselblad branding.
Moreover, the first OnePlus foldable will bring include the beloved alert slider, a signature feature often found in OnePlus flagships. Also, its power button seamlessly integrates a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. As you turn, you will get a large cover screen with slim bezels.
The cover screen features a punch-hole selfie camera, while the internal screens selfie camera is installed at the left-side corner. There’s a triple speaker system in the device as part of delivering an immersive audio experience. SmartPrix quotes that the hinge mechanism is inspired by OPPO and Samsung foldables.
