Samsung Galaxy S21 FE:
Samsung is delivering the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the carrier-unlocked models of Galaxy S21 FE 5G smartphone in the US. On the other hand, the US carrier-locked models and the international variant of this device have already grabbed the update a couple of months ago.
This update brings the Galaxy S21 FE carrier-unlocked users a handful of new features and improvements over the previous One UI 4.1 software. Additionally, it carries a new user interface with notable tweaks to app icons, quick settings panel, notification panel, recent menu, and other sections.
Aside from these, the major update also installs the December 2022 Android security patch, which is not the latest but also not that old. You can now navigate to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install on your Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone to check the Android 13 update that can be identified through the build version G990U1UEU4DVLC for the US carrier-unlocked models.
Samsung Galaxy A13:
The carrier-locked models of Galaxy A13 LTE have now joined the list of Samsung smartphones getting the major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in the US. This update unlocks a lot of new features, customization capabilities as well as a new user interface.
The company further brings multiple improvements to various One UI apps and services in order to glorify the overall system and its functions. In addition to these big changes, the latest update also installs the outdated November 2022 Android security patch for system safety concerns.
If you using a carrier-locked model of the Samsung Galaxy A13 smartphone in the US, you can identify the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update through the A135USQU2BVL4 version. Meanwhile, you can get access to it through the Software update section in Settings.
