After launching the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung is now working on the next generation foldable smartphone. We’ve already heard about major Camera upgrades for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, while, it looks like Samsung is improving the standard variants’ front camera resolution as well.

A recent report suggests that Samsung is supposed to debut the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus smartphones with a 12MP front camera, up from the traditional 10MP resolution. It’s worth mentioning that the company is bringing the same res. camera since the Galaxy S10 launched in 2019.
As per the previous report, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is likely to feature a 200MP rear camera sensor, the front camera resolution may remain the same as the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 40MP. Meanwhile, we don’t have much info about the optical image stabilization and punch hole/UDC functionality of the front camera of the upcoming lineup.
However, the series will launch sometime in early next year. Before this, the company is going to introduce the next generation foldable including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, possibly on August 10, 2022.
