The new design shows that it will have slightly rounded edges compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, making it easier to hold. A recent leak reveals that Samsung is making the Galaxy S25 Ultra even more comfortable by making it slimmer and lighter.
According to a source on X/Twitter, @UniverseIce, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be the slimmest and lightest flagship phone available. It will outperform rivals like the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max, set to launch on September 9, and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.
To put things in perspective, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is 8.5mm thick and weighs 221 grams. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumored to be 8.25mm thick and weigh 225 grams. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be thinner than 8.25mm and lighter than 221 grams. This makes it at least 0.35mm thinner and 7 grams lighter than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which measures 8.6mm thick and weighs 232 grams. These changes should make the Galaxy S25 Ultra feel much more comfortable to hold.
In addition to its improved design, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature four rear cameras: a 200MP main camera with a wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, a 50MP super-telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens.
