Samsung rolling out April 2024 security update across Galaxy devices

However, dealing with the same, Samsung is trying to bundle its Galaxy systems with the latest September 2023 security update. European Galaxy S22 users will slowly but surely be offered security patches for the highly anticipated One UI 6.1 update in the coming month. This patch only contains fixes for security vulnerabilities that have been reported since the previous release or update and is not intended to introduce new functionalities.

However, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is good news for the people of America. Carrier-locked models are receiving the April Advanced Security Patch in version F926USQS5HXD1. Since it’s now live on Comcast and Xfinity mobile networks and set for a wider carrier launch very soon, it’s available now. In the case of the S22 update, it helps strengthen the security levels, but unlike the S24 it will not have One UI 6.1 or the AI-powered features that are available for the latest foldable phones.

Additionally, the April patch is being rolled out among Galaxy S20 FE 5G users in several European countries. System Security and Stability Edition G781BXXSAHXC6 is all about providing security and stability through firmware or embedded software. Although this is the case, it is still advisable that despite not having any new features, it may be much better to have proper security. The initial phase will be used in some areas shortly.

Finally, after the launch of Galaxy A52s Europa, it is also joining the security update club. This update brings a 300MB size download with Google’s latest Android patch as the release platform One UI base version A528BXXS7FXC8 with regular system security enabled. Ultimately, it’s all about releasing new versions to get rid of any known bugs while improving stability for a seamless user experience. The ultimate goal of bringing One UI 6.1 to the A52s version in the coming future is to provide an even deeper level of security, but so far the update is a plus for this security.

Sometimes software’s self-updates are disabled, so it would be wise to check if you have updates to prevent potential security issues. The current batch of Samsung’s rollouts contains the January 2024 security patch. Next year your Galaxy device is set to benefit from the April 2024 security patch.
