Congratulations to all the Galaxy S22 owners lucky enough to get their hands on one of these amazing phones! The People’s Republic of Korea cherry-picked Samsung to use its symphony of One UI 6.1 on your device. This follows on the same lines as the recent rollout of the S23 series and other premium models in late March.
As @Tarunwatts discovered in another technical release, a new test build for the S22 in European servers suggests that a release is imminent. It is implied that the “S90xBXXU8EXD3” codenamed feature suggests that Samsung is actively ensuring that the software is put through its paces to avoid any bugs affecting the S22.
Some online magazines and other sources claim that a release date, which remains secret, has been set as far back as April. This is in line with reports of an update for two models of the series (S22), as well as the Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, happening on April 10, 2024. This OS version will be released recently. One UI 6.1 with updates to top security patches.
The S22 will likely include the Galaxy AI suite, which will include features like Google’s “Circle to Search” and “Live Translation.” Galaxy S22 users haven’t been confirmed by Samsung – at least not yet – still, it’s something to look forward to. Stay tuned for frequent updates – we’ll be counting down the days until the official release.
