Samsung blessing the old rugged phone – Galaxy XCover Pro with the enhancements and fixes of the January 2024 Android security update. Installing this latest patch will ensure that, your smartphone is up-to-date and protected with recent security protocols and advancements.
It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that user’s data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. In addition, the update also resolves 70 vulnerability exposures from the Android operating system and 5 vulnerability exposures from Samsung One UI.
Also, it’s an initial rollout and the update is currently live in the US and will reach other market owners in the coming days or weeks. The consumers of Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro locked units will be able to determine the January 2024 update via the One UI build version G715USQSHEWL2 in the US.
Simultaneously, the update is rolling out gradually and may take some time to cover all the eligible units in the country. If you don’t want to wait for the OTA, then check and install the update manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
