For a long, Google Drive was working on the default Home page, however, the useful enhancement has now begun rolling out for the web. It will help users find documents seamlessly, and offer a more optimized experience while using Drive on your web.
This new feature provides personalized file and folder suggestions using machine learning algorithms and signals like what you’ve recently opened, shared, and edited. In addition, it will also suggest what documents are attached to upcoming Calendar events.
With this addition, the company offers a high-level “Files” and “Folders” switcher in the toolbar in addition to filters for Type, People, Modified, and Location. However, it rolling out to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google Accounts.
