Google Contacts is a popular application that lets you save numbers and names for easy contact access. However, the tech maker keeps on optimizing its functionalities with new additions and now Google Contacts has got the ability to set reminder notifications for all saved dates
According to the information, Google Contacts will now send notifications or will alert you for your reminders, so that you don’t miss anything. Earlier this year, Google Contacts introduced a birthday reminder, and those notifications can now be set for all saved dates.
However, users can also create a New reminder with birthdays, anniversaries, and Custom labels supported. The set date and Reminder will also generate an event in Google Calendar as part of the existing “Birthdays” calendar, which could result in double alerts.
To access the notifications, open the contact app and go to the overflow menu. This will show a new Reminders option and page. Here, all previously entered Significant dates will be shown with the option to enable a notification.
