Samsung is releasing a new update for its Camera Assistant application, which comes with version 2.0.0.0 and brings a slew of new features and functionalities. Camera Assistant is an application that goes deep into camera settings.
With the help of this app, users can disable automatic switching between lenses in low light and adjust whether the phone takes a picture as soon as you put your finger on the shutter or when you take it off. Now, let’s explore what this new update brings.
As per the details, with this new update, Samsung has changed the name and location of some settings in the Camera Assistant app and added some options that weren’t there before. Such as the modified optical quality crop zoom feature, which adds a 2x zoom option for lossless 2x photos.
It further adds upscale digital zoom and adaptive pixel options in the high-resolution settings. Additionally, the app also gets a new distortion correction option and eliminates capture speed. Other than this, there is much more that you will encounter after upgrading the app to the latest version.
Therefore, to take benefit of these latest enhancements users are recommended to install the latest version of applications. However, the update for Camera Assistant is available to download through the Galaxy Store.
