Samsung has now shifted its focus toward the launch of its next flagship series and a recent leak suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. This information hints that the Korean tech maker is making big camera shifts in its next ultra model.
The zoom capability of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has been a big mystery, and now a reliable tipster Revgnus, signifies that the device will have a new 50-megapixel Telephoto camera, with 5x optical zoom, a pixel size of 0.7μm and a sensor size of 1/2.52-inch.
This will replace the 10-megapixel sensor, which Samsung used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 1.12μm pixel size and 1/3.2-inch sensor size.
However, the upcoming flagship series will come pre-installed on One UI 6.1 and consist of three models, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Simultaneously, the lineup is reported to be unveiled on January 17, 2024, in the US.
