Samsung is rolling out the One UI 6 Beta 3 update for its Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 smartphones, which brings several enhancements and bug fixes. Identified as ZWJ8, the update addresses various issues and aims to improve the user experience. The update is currently being released in the US.

One UI 6 Beta 3 update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 fixes some common issues such as occasional empty screens when accessing the Quick Panel and overall software stability improvements.

For Galaxy Fold 5, the update resolves problems related to the home screen, such as background screen display errors, icon display errors, and taskbar display errors. Additionally, it fixes an issue with the navigation bar gesture home key not working and occasional force closes during Smart Select Crop operations in Landscape mode.

However, some known issues persist, such as the Night 300x speed shooting not functioning in Camera Hyperlapse mode on the Fold 5 and occasional failures to apply effects when capturing camera motion photos on the Flip 5. Users may also encounter problems with the lock screen notification settings and occasional force closes in apps like Camera, One UI Home, and System UI.

Furthermore, the update occasionally fails to display Samsung Pay hints at the bottom of the lock screen. Despite these known issues, the One UI 6 Beta 3 update promises to enhance the user experience and resolve critical bugs for Samsung’s latest folding smartphones.
