In smartphones, RAM is responsible for performance and seamless operations. Similar to megapixels in the camera, consumers think the more RAM, the more seamless the user experience, but it’s not true at all. Well, OnePlus is about to introduce a new smartphone, which features 24GB RAM.
Most of the smartphone makers appear to be settled on 8GB to 16GB of RAM in their high-end models, however, REDMAGIC 7 Pro comes with 18GB of RAM. It could soon be surpassed by the upcoming OnePlus phone that reportedly equips up to 24GB of RAM.
Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo revealed that the OnePlus Ace2 Pro will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset, 24GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of internal storage. If the leak is correct, it’s going to be the highest RAM offering on a smartphone in history.
