Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 in August 2023. Ahead of the release, the company is likely to showcase the next-generation foldables during an Unpacked event next month in South Korea. Well, a tipster has revealed all the specifications of both phones.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 Specifications
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes with a 6.7-inch main display with Full HD+ resolution and a variable refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz. Besides, the cover screen measures 3.4 inches and features a 748×720 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Notably, the outer display will be used for camera, and music controls as well as supports Google apps such as Messages, YouTube and Maps. In terms of camera, the phone features a 12MP (F1.8) + 12MP (F2.2) camera on the outside alongside a 10MP (F2.4) selfie camera.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal storage. Moreover, it packs a 3,700mAh battery, 25W fast charging, wireless charging, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 Specifications
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5 brings a 7.6-inch main screen with a 2,176 x 1,812 pixels resolution and a variable refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz. However, the cover screen expands 6.2 inches and features a 2,316 x 904 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, it will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which would be coupled with 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB storage. The battery capacity is expected to be 4400mAh, supported by 25W fast charging through the wired solution.
Talking about camera, the Fold 5 will have a 50MP (F1.8) primary camera, a 12MP (F2.2) ultrawide camera, and a 12MP (F2.2) telephoto camera. The under-display camera’s resolution could be 4MP (F1.0), while the outer screen’s selfie camera could be 10MP (F2.2).
