Samsung is rolling out the May 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra users in Canada. The update is currently rolling out on Fido mobile network.
May 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones can be identified via firmware versions S911WVLS1AWCA, S916WVLS1AWCA, and S918WVLS1AWCA respectively.
May 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23 fixes more than 70 issues including 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate level of common vulnerability exposures, however, 2 were fixed in the previous release and 1 isn’t applicable on Galaxy devices. It is just an incremental update so no new features have been added to the Galaxy S23 series.
You can download the new software update by opening Settings >> tap on Software update >> click on Download and install option. If your device received the latest update, then tap follow the on-screen instructions to install the update to get a bug-free service.
