As per the information, January 2023 security update has arrived with One UI build version F936U1UES1BWA2 and F721U1UES1BWA2 for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 respectively.
Moving on, the update will enhance the security and improves the stability of your fourth-generation foldables. Additionally, it will also resolve some common bugs and issues of your device to offer seamless performance.
Other than this, there is nothing that the official changelog mentions for your foldable phones, but we recommend you to install the update as soon as it knocks on the door of your smartphone. Notably, the update also mentions fixes for over 50 security issues.
Now coming to availability, the latest firmware update is currently rolling out for the carrier-unlocked devices on MetroPCS, T-Mobile, Dish, and Tracfone in the US. However, the company will not take much time to expand it for more users.
Users of the fourth-generation foldable can downlaod the update manually by visiting the Settings menu, here tp on the Software update. Now hit the Downlaod & Install button and follow the onscreen instructions.
