On September 4, Samsung officially announced the launch of Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 for older smartphones and Wear OS 3.5-based One UI Watch 4.5 for Galaxy Wearables.

According to Samsung, the new Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update will be rolling out to older Galaxy Foldable devices with select features for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, which are as follows:
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy Z Fold 2
- Galaxy Z Flip
- Galaxy Fold
In addition to the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software, Samsung also announced an extension to Google’s Wear OS 3.5-based One UI Watch 4.5 update for the previous generation Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic.
Select Galaxy Watch models launched on Tizen OS firmware will also receive some new features from One UI Watch 4.5 via a software update in the near future. These Tizen OS Galaxy Watch new features are eligible for:
- Galaxy Watch 3
- Galaxy Watch Active 2
In its newsroom post, Samsung describes all the new features that the new Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 brings to older Galaxy foldable phones and Wear OS 3.5-based One UI Watch 4.5 to older Galaxy watches.
For the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, the rollout of Android 12L has started on September 5, however, the update will gradually expand to more markets and regions.
