On February 11, 2020, Samsung launched its new Galaxy S flagship series consisting of three handsets – Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20. These devices came out of the box with Android 10-based One UI 2.1 and became the first to receive the Android 11 beta and stable update last year.

Last month, Samsung upgraded the Galaxy S20 series devices to the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 operating system. In addition to major software updates, these devices are also eligible for new security patch updates on a monthly basis until 2024, thanks to the new Samsung update policy.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Latest Update
Samsung is rolling out the second August 2022 security update for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra in Germany. The update brings system stability and security improvements to enhance the user experience.
In addition, the update also upgrades some stock apps including Samsung Notes, Internet, Health, SmartThings, Members, Wallet, Smart Switch, Calculator and Voice Recorder.
