Samsung recently released a new camera update for Galaxy S22 users in various regions. This update brings many new features to the camera to enhance the user experience. Some older flagship smartphones, including the Galaxy S21 smartphone, will get this camera update but the date is yet to be confirmed.
According to the post by Samsung Community Manager, the Detail Enhancer feature will not be available in the Galaxy S21 series devices. The forum moderator says that older Galaxy flagships have different NPU performance which makes it difficult for Samsung to optimize detail enhancers.

Only after testing the detail enhancer on the Galaxy S21, the moderator noted that the feature was not released at the moment due to the different performance of the NPU (Neural Processing Unit) of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22. Although the company is making more efforts, it is not confirmed that this feature will be rolled out for the Galaxy S21.
On the other hand, there is good news for Galaxy S21 users that the company will soon release the Snapchat for Samsung app. Nowadays people prefer to use Snapchat to click photos instead of the native camera of the phone. Snapchat offers several filters that most people like to use in their photos. The moderator confirmed that Snapchat integration is coming soon for Galaxy S21 users.
