Samsung has started sending the August 2022 Android security patch update to Galaxy A32 smartphone users. The update is currently rolling out to the South Korean markets, however, it will soon reach other regions around the world.
This update brings system security and stability optimizations to maintain the user experience. In addition, it upgrades a bunch of Samsung One UI applications to their latest versions to boost the overall device performance.

According to the official changelog, these updated apps include Samsung Notes, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, SmartThings, Samsung Members, Samsung Pay, Calculator, and Voice Recorder.
However, the changelog for the update does not mention the new changes and improvements that these app upgrades bring. It may be related to stability enhancement to solve the problem of app crashes and slow app loading.
Some of the specific functionalities of some of these apps may also have been improved as you will see after installing the August patch on your phone.
On the other hand, the company’s August security patch details reveal fixes for various privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities that affect the user’s experience.
These vulnerabilities include more than a dozen CVEs found in Google and 31 exposures affecting Samsung apps and One UI. And these exposure solutions are related to Samsung Dialer, Bluetooth connectivity, DesktopSystemUI, Wi-Fi service, Samsung DeX, and others.

Galaxy A32:
The Samsung Galaxy A32 pre-installed with Android 11 OS was launched last year. The device received its first major OS update in the form of Android 12-based One UI 4.0 and is currently running on One UI version 4.1.
Next, the phone will receive Android 13-based One UI 5.0, which is likely to be publicly released in October. At this time, One UI 5.0 is in the beta phase and is being tested by Galaxy S22 series users in some countries.
How to update Galaxy A32:
To download the latest software update to your Galaxy device, navigate to Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install. Tap the Download button when the available update appears and simply follow the on-screen instructions to get access to the new changes.
