Foldable devices are truly an innovation, from keypad smartphones to touch screens and now foldable, all about technology. As of now, we are in the year 2022 but a new report gives information about the foldable/rollable smartphone of 2023.
According to display market analyst Ross Young, 23 foldable devices will be shipped in the coming year, including the world’s first rollable smartphone. In addition, there will be more than 7 foldable notebooks launched in 2023.

It is being said that the first rollable smartphone will be launched by a Chinese brand, which will have a Korean panel i.e. the panel will be provided by Samsung. A Chinese smartphone brand is expected to launch four different foldable smartphones next year.
The DSCC report shows that foldable smartphone panel shipments grew 12% to 17.7 million in 2022 and 77% to 10 million in 2021. Foldable smartphone panel shipments are expected to grow 34% to 23.7 million next year.
In addition, shipments of foldable/rollable smartphones are expected to grow by half (17%) as compared to panel shipments in 2023. The new year will indeed be wonderful for consumers as various foldable smartphones and notebooks arrive.
